Is the Thalassotherapy pool free on the Dream and other Carnival ships?

Only free if you booked a spa cabin on a dream class ship. Might have added one on some other ships I forget but dream class has them. You can buy a pass if you didnt book a spa cabin.

Like others said only if you book a spa room or buy a pass.
the Madrid grad class of ships had a really busy spa area.  Almost too busy as you couldn’t find a spot down there.

If you have a massage scheduled you can also visit that area during that massage window. Sometimes they let you do day passes in addition to the week passes. (So a bit cheaper.) Otherwise it's off-limits.

Too bad.  On Celebrity it is included.

On Celebrity, you paid for it whether you use it or not. Nothing is free.

You also pay for less riff-raff and civility on celebrity. Something are not tangible.

It's all the same color money to Celebrity. And Celebrity letting me on the ships shoots down your theory.

Surly you jest - you love Carnival and that a good thing. The rest just live rent free in your mind with the casino rooms on Carnival

But a lot more boring people on Celebrity. Was on Mercury back in 1999, and since we tried Carnival, we haven't been back.

As I get older boring is better. I choose cruises for when I can get away and what’s available. Carnival definitely has more noise and more activities but they also have more negative behaving passengers in all aspects in comparison to celebrity. They are not good about policing and following through on their rules and that’s been an issue for me in the past. So boring people are better for me!

We'll be trying Celebrity for the first time in January because Equinox is coming to Port Canaveral for the winter. We're looking forward to trying a new to us cruise line, but we're still looking forward to the other 4 upcoming cruises we have booked on Carnival. I don't think it has to be one cruise line or the other, just whatever works for us at the time. Princess is also coming to Port Canaveral so we'll be looking at that as well.

You will find some people on Celebrity who love Carnival, but will only whisper it. Actually admitting Carnival is a great cruise line seems to be frowned upon. Oh well.

And that would make Celebrity a no-go for me.   I like the fact that access is controlled to the Cloud 9 Spa on Carnival.  Keeps the numbers down and cleanliness and relaxation up.  I am more than will to pay...and I am sure the non-spa customers are glad they are not paying.
