Unfortunately that happens all the time...

Agree.  It infuriates me.  Sometimes I just cancel it, and then UBER tries to charge a cancellation fee.  I protest it and they remove it.

Yeah, it comes across like classic bait and switch.

"Oh good, the driver is only 3 minutes away".

<press click>

New outcome: driver is 12 minutes away.

Anchorage airport looks much calmer than SeaTac was yesterday afternoon. It was wall to wall people and I think Alaska Airlines decided to funnel everyone through construction to one baggage cararosel.  Our own circus of 6 people and 9 bags just added to the fun.

Thanks for the live...got me thinking about a one way Alaska cruise vs roundtrip.

And neighbor was spelled wrong, so do you use the incorrect spelling for the password??

I wasn’t going to bother with the WiFi but I did it for you. What he has does not work. The correct spelling does.

Oh good. 15 minutes. I started that upload of a 50 second video at the airport! The internet isn’t great…

Oh gosh no wonder. How did that happen? Like a few seconds in the uploaded version switches to some Super slow mo and the 50 second video uploaded as 5

minutes.

This is our bus driver. He has a French accent. He said he lives on the other side of kenai fjord but comes here to shop at Costco. Imagine that. I think it’s a three hour drive.

That was a nice touch though to have something in the fridge for a small breakfast.

Yeah I mean he has everything there which is nice. It’s a little weird because it feels like someone lives there. With multiple shampoo bottles in the shower and whatnot. It did come in handy because I didn’t pack shampoo. I’ll use the shippoo but I normally bring a travel size and don’t think I did this time.

I don’t remember if I was told this last time but Delaney park used to be the airport runway. That’s why it’s so long.
