Mike A Posted August 19 #1 Share Posted August 19 Hello all, my family has booked 2 Family Master Bedroom Suites on the Prima out of NY sailing on 4/20/2025. I have some questions/comments: My understanding is that these Suites, do come with a Butler and Concierge even though these are not Haven Suites. My understanding is we will get all the perks of the Butler and Concierge, My questions are Will we be check in on the Haven Line and are escorted on the ship by the concierge in NY with the Haven Guests? Will we receive snacks and Hord'ovres in the room each day? I know that there are the tubes going through the balcony's. Based on the pictures I saw I chose the 2 suites on Deck 11 as that appeared to have the least obstruction. Does anyone have any comments Any other things I need to know about the Non-Haven Suite Life on the Prima? I thank my cruise critic friends in advance, and I look forward to hearing back from you
complawyer Posted August 19 #2 Share Posted August 19 you will get exactly what you would if your cabin was in the haven complex, other than access to the haven lounge, pool, and restaurant.

RosieRoo Posted August 20 #4 Share Posted August 20 (edited) Sailed in an SJ suite in May. We were on 14 and the slide was not an issue. We absolutely loved this cabin and would book it again in a heartbeat. The Concierge was set up inside Cagneys and it was very quiet in there for both breakfast and lunch. The butler came around every day and was always available by phone if you needed him. The butlers were also stationed by Cagneys escorting suite guests off the ship for the first hour or so after the ship docked. Let’s keep this a secret. 😉 Can this thread be closed and pushed to page 10 please? 🤣 Yes, we agree but don’t tell anyone else, please. 🤫 1

Just checked a sailing for next year and the price is insane, more for a 7 nt than I paid for my 11 nt this year
Mike A Posted August 20 Author #9 Share Posted August 20 @RosieRoo Thanks for confirming. @Seas2mountains I agree my questions were answered so let’s close it 🙂 FWIW…I did get a good deal on these 2 cabins. Just slightly higher than Family Club Suites. I couldn’t turn it down.
complawyer Posted August 20 #10 Share Posted August 20 if youve never booked an ncl suite, you'll be amazed and delighted (imho) they're cheaper than the similar haven suites, but you cant get into the haven complex. personally, unless i can get a phenomenal deal, i'd rather book the suite, and forgo the haven pool, lounge and restaurant. the dollar savings are remarkable. one caveat. once you book a suite (or a haven) it's really tough to settle for anything else. our 1st suite was on the getaway about 6 years back, and now i joke, if i cant book a suite, my wife refuses to go. you will not be sorry. most of the other ncl ships, have breakfast in moderno and lunch in cagney's . regardless, you CANNOT go wrong with what you have booked enjoy, and even though it's early. BON VOYAGE!
Mike A Posted August 20 Author #11 Share Posted August 20 (edited) @complawyer Back in 2012 we did a 2 Bedroom Family Suite in the Jewel, without the Haven. We loved every minute of it. I've been dying to do this again. Finally, the cost made sense, given we are going on Easter Week. I could not believe the small difference between the Family Club we were going to take and the Non-Haven Suites. It was a no brainer. I thank you for the kind words and I look forward to all your contributions as well as the other posters on the NCL board. While I only have 600+ posts, I have been a member from the old AOL days, I am very much a lurker and am on the boards daily when I am planning a cruise. Thanks again and Happy Cruising🙂 Edited August 20 by Mike A
