Obstructed view cabins

Hi Folks

Thinking of booking a Caribbean cruise. Not a great choice of remaining cabins and those that are on offer appear to be grouped together. I am suspicious and wonder if they are where the balcony is obstructed by the life boats.

Thoughts?

Where are you looking to see available cabins?  A lot of websites only show a small number of choices even though there are more cabins available. For example the cruise line I am most familiar with is Oceania.  If they show 7 cabins available then there are more choices but if 6 or less then they don't have any more that are open to book.  They could be holding some back but we wouldn't be able to check that.

Where do you see balconies which are obstructed by lifeboats ? There are none.

Besides that, Explora can and will change the assigned/selected stateroom if you ask them for a different specific cabin within the same category, which you might find to your likes when you consult the deckplan.

So don’t let the online „available“ staterooms keep you from booking online. Pick one during booking process and ask them to change it afterwards.
If you are unsure, simply call them first and they can tell you what’s available after you picked your favorite deck, category and cabin#

Check they are not on deck 6/7 over the cafe where there is an outdoor smoking area. That is the likely reason.

There's a whole topic about that. I think they will have to address that at some point.
