I guess when you do the walk you don’t do the edema.

Plus eating healthy.

Avoiding junk food.

And drinking tons of water.

However. I did have 2 drinks last night.

Question and I hope I’m not being too personal but does the Lasix make you go to the bathroom more frequently than before?

I took  20 mg of Lasix yesterday.

It started to work in about 30 minutes.

I visited the bathroom about every 30 min and It was a FULL bladder. It was not painful and it did not feel like if I didn’t get there I  would leak.

Now mind you this was a port day.
JAMAICA.

When it worked  I had to *** 3x in 90 min.

I waited for the fourth time and it I didn’t have the urge. So I tried to go before we left the shlp, normal amount —. Normal ***

I would say get up in the morning. about an hour before you think your going to get up.
Take it.
Go back to bed.

Let the bathroom be your alarm clock.

Um. It works for me.

Different people have different experiences   Too bad you cannot do a practice run at home.

Be safe.

That’s happened to me several times doing a live. Very frustrating. Now I write the post in notes and then copy and paste into my thread.

Doing shorter updates.

I would have received a Pulitzer prize today for the perfect literary post. But it went (((((((POOOF)))))))))).

So here on out.

All quick-e. Notes.

If you recall the early days of RCI cruising. At dinner in the MDR you could purchase a shot of the day in a shot glass and keep it.

Then one day. (((((((POOF))))))——(word of the day).

Well today we found out at one of the peddlers kiosks on board you can purchase a commemorative package of 4.
We figured what the hell we could either get here or when we get home go to

E Bay.

Sold to the lady.

Today was a sea day.

The pool deck was packed.

But something interesting.

I saw one of the pool boys go around with an officer collecting towels and belongings from empty loungers.
Glad it is happening.
Just wish I could be there when the return.

So when we were sitting poolside with the jumbo tv screen in viewing range, all of a sudden a movie started.
Not just any movie but a Disney Movie.

“Enconto”.

Just saying.

Just a quick note about the “Ducks” on board.

Our FB site has many a post of all the various types of ducks being hidden on our sailing.
Hundreds upon hundreds of those quackers.

So could I find one?
Nope

Nada

I must get up too early or be in the right place at the wrong time.

And

On another note we just had our doorbell ring. 2 kids said they are playing. “Power up”.
Looks like it’s challenge from teen lounge.
They had a 2 dollar bill and would trade it for something higher.

Living in a “plastic “ economy we could not meet their request.

They quickly moved on.

Glad there keeping busy.

Ne safe.

Promenade

looks nice.  I think the Freedom class ships have the best ones because of no rising tide bar. I sailed on Liberty and enjoyed that promenade as well.

I will be on the Freedom in mid Nov of this year right after sailing on new Sun Princess.

Interesting morning.

Got a phone call that our account is a pay account.  Please come settle.

Not true.

RCI now sends charges to the credit card. At intervals.

We bought souvenirs on board and some mini charges.

Our credit card company thought it was fraud. And denied a payment.

Thank God for phone call telling us to settle account.

We went down.

We looked At our emails and Chase sent us a fraud alert.  Last night.

Clarified it was us.

Charge went thru.

Could you imagine this being a problem rushing out to catch our flight. (We have to do walk off.)

And being kept on board.

SHE SAID……..….. ….,., HE SAID

Okay need clarification.

When disembarking the ship if you do the first available offering which is walkoff  with luggage:

A.
You have to lug you luggage from room down elevators and wait in line.

B.

You put your suite tags on. Proceed to walkoff line and collect your bags in terminal before customs.

This is not a vote.
Please. Respond if you know the CORRECT answer.

Thank you.

Could you clarify the disembarkation process with Guest Services or  your suite butler or concierge?

First hand answer may be more accurate per Freedom of the Seas than other posters' experience

with it.

Enjoy the rest of your vacation!

So I met with concierge. Matty.

Our needs were answered.

We have 3 case scenarios.

If the ship clears on time and disembarkation starts at 7.

1.  We can drag our luggage down and get in walk off line.  And proceed off.  When told.

2.  We can put suite tags on and walk to express line and our suite luggage will arrive and be available to us at 7:45 in terminal.

BETTER YET.

OPTION 3.

We proceed to Schooner bar.
Keep our luggage with us.
Be escorted off before general express walk off with concierge.

I don't have to imagine it. I lived it on our first Oasis sailing. We were stopped leaving the ship. Apparently a lot of people had the same issue with credit card info not transferring from the terminal to the ship. I was really pissed. I asked the guy at Guest Services why I was not notified during the week only for me to find out when I already have the stress of trying to get my family home. After he straightens it out he says to me that I can go now. At that point I lost it and told him under no uncertain terms that I was not standing in line again to get off of the ship and I wanted immediately off of the ship and gave him a big piece of my mind. He wasted no time finding me an escort to get us off the ship. There were loads of people encountering the same issue.
