This is our 5th sailing on MSC. We’ve always been fortunate to cruise in Yacht Club. We blame our Yacht Club addiction to Arthur and Vishnu!

We live in St Pete and we drove over last night after work. Easy peasey! We always come in the night before to avoid any stress!

Marriott Town Suites are a great addition to Port Canaveral and the room was fabulous! Staff was very nice! Bonvoy upgrade helped!

Parking- Opened a bit later than our last cruise but all in all smooth going. The new parking structure will make this, in our opinion, the easiest port in Florida to depart from! We waited in our car until it opened at 10:35.

Embarkation- Yacht Club is best in class. No one else comes close! We’ve cruised Haven, Retreat and top suite on Carnival and they are nowhere close to MSC! Muster completed on way in with butler escort is the way to go!

Top Sail Lounge- Great spot to sit and relax while our room is prepared. The buzz is all service oriented and our fellow passengers are all being taken care of.

Let me know what questions you have. I’ll do my best to get your answers!

It’s Cruise day!!!

Kimberly in Top Sail Lounge.  She's trying to master "A lovely cup of tea" in an English Accent.

Vishnu was our first Yacht Club butler back in 2018. I still have his Yacht Club business card even though he is now with Regent Seven Seas.

We wish we were sailing with y’all but a vicarious cruise will have to do! Have a wonderful trip; DW asks you to enjoy a salted caramel expresso martini on her behalf-LOL

Your friends from Dec 2023 Seashore cruise…

You mention you stayed in your car until 10:35.  What time did you get in the line?

Wow! The thunder and lightning are louder than I’ve ever heard. And we have  been in a few hurricanes in our time.

Captain just announced that all food service will be served onboard today for the safety of the crew.

We will find out later if we can get off to walk around. Wayne and I always go with the flow. There are done unhappy people but we will just avoid them. 🌺 The crew is taking great care of us!

We are waiting to see pics of you trying the slides on the ship!! If not photos, at least your review of the slides; if DW was there, she would go with you S. (as I recall, W. wasn’t too keen on the idea!).

But if one doesn’t ride the slides on a port day, then a cabana is the excellent option. Fond memories of lunch with y’all on OC is making us hungry for lobster roll.

Enjoying your live report…

And here’s a question to see if any staff can answer: will the new MSC terminal in Miami be ready earlier than planned, like at the end of 2024 vs. spring 2025?

Thanks!!
