Circumnavigation with embarkation/disembarkation at several ports.

Does anybody have experience of how it works when a circumnavigation cruise is also sold in many segments? Does it mean that those on the full cruise get caught up in queues at security at the ports or do they get on and off the ship via a different route?

We have never had any problems with segment ports, they have a separate lane for day visitors to return to the ship.

Outside of Sydney, your embarkation numbers are much lower, so day visit passengers are in the majority. If Sydney is a day in port for you, it will be busier.

Never had issues on QM2 which is a larger ship. It was rather nice to see those disembarking and know we didn't have to be the ones packing up.
