After grabbing a bite to eat we head out back to the Burano Sunshine Deck. We don’t find any sunshine out here…..

We have sometime before the B2B meet up, so we go check out the Canal Grande Restaurant in the back of the ship…..

We head to the Limelight Lounge for the B2B meet. Normally the B2B meet is in one of the restaurants, where they’ll have coffee, tea, juices, and Danish. Here they offered us nothing. The staff came around and gave us our new cards……

 

 

 

Now we had to sit around and wait for the ship to be zeroed out. Around 10:15am we were led off the ship, through customs and facial recognition, and then back on the ship at 10:35am. Here I am boarding the ship for the second leg of our B2B…..

 

 

 

 

We actually had our B2B picture taken later on this evening, but I’ll post it here…..

 

 

Pat is making our first (and free) drinks of this cruise…..

 

 

 

We toast to another great cruise……

 

 

 

Our girl Pat is happy to see us back…..

 

 

At 10:55am the new passengers are now boarding the ship…..

And this is where my part of your wonderful review ends as out with the old in with the new lol. This is us as we said goodbye to MarQ in the lobby on the way out. He was on his way off shortly behind us. Our flight wasn't until 230pm, so we were in rush to leave, so this was shortly after 9am.

We head up to Muster Station A5 to complete our muster, same as last week, and yes, if you are doing a B2B on Carnival you have to go again.

 

Wanting to stay out of the newbies way, we head back to our cabin. If you are doing a B2B you have immediate access to your cabin. The stewards do these cabins first. Our television is welcoming us back on board…..

 

 

We’ve received a letter from the Hotel Director, along with a plate of fruit and a bottle of champagne for our B2B……

We sit on our balcony watching as the new passengers come on board, and the dock workers load up the luggage…..

 

 

 

From here, with Patti’s zoom we have a pretty good view of the Intrepid Museum…..

Patti decides that she’s going to use this time to check out the Fitness Center and Cloud 9 Spa. As she heads upstairs she sees that luggage is already being delivered…..

Patti made her way back to the cabin where we spent the afternoon just relaxing. Around 3:15pm we look outside and see a rainstorm approaching…..

About twenty minutes later it began pouring rain…..

The rain ended fairly quickly. A little after 4pm, Captain Pennisi backs the Venezia into the Hudson River…..

 

 

 

 

 

 

Patti and I will watch this sail away from our balcony. Here’s a view of lower Manhattan…..

 

 

One of the Circle Line boats passes by…..

 

 

Way off in the distance Patti catches the Liberty OTS leaving Cape Liberty and heading out to sea…..

 

 

Once we turn to head down the Hudson River, being on the starboard side, we will be getting all the New Jersey views. Looking back north, we can see the George Washington Bridge…..

Afterwards, we made our way down to the Lobby Bar for a drink, and to get our B2B picture taken. On our way we met another Cruise Critic member. This is James, a self -proclaimed lurker. I hope he posts when he sees this…..

Patti went back to the cabin and I went to the Limelight Lounge for Arvin Mitchell’s PG show…..

 

 

Comedy Club Host Lisa Marie gets the show going…..

 

 

 

Arvin Mitchell takes the stage…..

 

 

 

 

Arvin had another good show. I went back to the Lobby Bar and had another Cruiser with Pat, before heading back to the cabin for the night.

 

Coming up next: We’re heading to Halifax, Diamond Lunch, Bonsai Teppanyaki, and the Captain’s Venetian Toast.
