I am in Canada and had booked a cruise from Manila, Philippines to Taipei,
Dec 10 to 22, 2024. On Ncl spirit

I had right away booked my flights and hotels

Beginning of September I received an email saying the route had changed.

Instead of Manila now it will be departing from Hong Kong to Taipei.

I am losing everything.
My flight is non refundable.
I cannot cancel even one leg from Mumbai to Manila and rebook that leg.
My whole flight from Mumbai to Manilla and Taipei to Mumbai will be cancelled. The penalty will be 35550 inr and I will receive an amount of 4515 inr.
you can check the exchange rates and see my losses.

And I will have to rebook my ticket from Mumbai to Hongkong and Taipei to Mumbai.

I don't know how much that will cost me.

NCL will be offering 300 $ which does not cover all my losses. My losses to rebook might cost me around 600 $

The NCL agent says sorry he can’t help me out

Therefore I am seeking your help in this matter.  What are my rights and how should NCL reimburse me for my extra expenses?

Thank you for your assistance in the matter

Also post on your Roll Call, as everyone there must be affected in one way or another.

If you have travel insurance, have you checked to see if your policy provides coverage for such a change?

I do hope that you will succeed in being compensated. It's incredible that NCL would make a change like this and offer only a token amount.

I think you're going about this in a more complicated way than is necessary. You don't need to change your non-refundable flight. Just keep it and go to Manila as planned. Then, fly from Manila to Hong Kong. There are plenty of direct flights for under $300 and it's only about 2.5 hours.

looks like you can use the $300 from NCL to fly from Manila to Hong Kong which is perhaps why this amount was offered . I hope you left extra time between arrival and boarding
