Stockholm, ship to airport

We are on the Regatta, Dover to Stockholm. June 20th departure. Our return flight leaves Stockholm at 10a.m. Any suggestions for transport to airport? We booked our own air. Are we tendered to the port or are we dockside? Will there be any difficulty leaving the ship early?

You dock in town.

You should be able to get off anytime as you overnight there.

Taxis would probably be the way to go or if you can pre arrange transport to pick you up .

A taxi cost us almost $100 last April. There's a high-speed train that goes from the center of town directly to the airport. If I had it to do again, I would take a taxi to the train station (a short distance) and then "train-it" to the airport. The train is around $20 pp.

We've done the express train and loved it - it's called the Arlanda Express and it leaves every 20 minutes or so from the downtown station. It's fast, reliable, and inexpensive (compared to a cab ride).

My problem with the train is always luggage..I take 4 pieces, Stu takes 1 so we always have to take a taxi..
