When do prices jump for Spring Break rates?

I don't mind pulling the kids out of school and would love to sail around the end of March but I think that might be costly. We don't have any plans other than lets go in 2008 :)

Spring break is Feb 15th thru April 15th...

 

Lot's of kids on break out of college...

 

Someone posted a cool site that lists by week when the schools are on break...

 

But I remember that is was mid Feb thru Mid Mar...

Spring break will typically start about March 10 - 12 and run until about a week after Easter. If Easter is real early it might run a bit longer, but not much.

Cruise prices are higher from Presidents day in February til the week after Easter. Then kinda go back to lower rates til the end of May.

Our Spring break up here in Maine always starts the week of Easter....I have always pulled the kids out of school and altho I know they frown on this I know the children will learn and experience things that they would never be able to at school. Teaching them about the culture of islands and geography while cruising is wonderful.

Yep... this is my understanding too. 2 Months of spring break sessions.

 

I would book the 1st week in May if you want a good price.
