mielyse Posted May 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2006 We are booked in the cabins at the very back of Adventure of the Seas. Has anyone been in these or know anything about them? We are on the 10th deck. Good or Bad?

Here are three of them if you want to change them Here are the sites for some of the clocks. Follow their directions. Then, go to the User CP on the upper left of this page. Click it open, click on edit your signature and paste your code into your signature box. http://www.*****/cd/vc/ With this one it will say create countdown. Copy the bb code and paste it into your signature box. http://www.echlforums.com/clock.htm With this one I use the BB code, not the HTML code. http://www.tickerfactory.com Scroll down to the word EVENT on the right of the list. Click it open to start. When you are done and get to this, Done! TEAGAN Posted May 8, 2006 #9 Share Posted May 8, 2006 Just my opinion but we just returned 2 days ago from our first cruise. We were in a Jr Suite aft on deck 7 of Voyager. We had rough seas for 3 days and the vibrations and noise in the aft was almost unbearable. We couldn't sleep even with ear plugs and the entire cabin shook and engines roared day and night. Maybe it was because it was deck 7 but we heard the noise & felt terrible vibrations even while eating in Portofino's up on deck 11.

Tyrkitty Posted May 8, 2006 #15 Share Posted May 8, 2006 We're on the back of the "BOAT" Radiance southbound Alaska next May - Most of the posts I've seen comment about the aft being very quiet - no mention of engine noise. We are on Neck 9. Any more feedback on the vibrations and noise especially on Radiance Class ships?
cb at sea Posted May 9, 2006 #16 Share Posted May 9, 2006 Having cruise both midships and aft, I prefer midships any day. Aside from a larger balcony (on which I have no gatherings or parties, so why do I need soooo much space!?) the motion in the rear of the ship is erratic, to say the least! The vibrations were there, also, but we had calmer seas and they were bearable. Deck 10 is mainly suites, so you will have plenty of space, room or balcony, no matter where you are! Have a good trip!
