What time can "board"the ship if it departs at 10 PM

Our cruise documents are saying you can board the ship until 2 PM. No earlier ? Is that true, I have heard of people checking in at noon on the AOS from San Juan. Does anyone know if you can checking before 2 PM ???

You may not be able to get to your cabin before 2 PM but you will be able to board well before that. I would anticipate between 11-noon depending on how quickly they clear the ship.

I have went on AOS in 2002, and got to the airport at 9:30 am, and since we had transfers with royal caribbean, we had to wait until 11:00 am to be taken to the ship. They had to wait for all the other passengers from previous cruise to leave. When we got to the ship, there was people already there. You can board the ship before 2pm. I got there by 12pm

If you get on the ship at 11 or noon, are you able to eat lunch for free as part of the cruise or is it not included because it's so early in the day?

We did AOS last october and got on the ship about 11:30am or noon, our room wasnt ready until 2pm. We hung around the ship, had lunch, etc.

It really depends on when the ship is cleared of the previous passengers. Once they are gone, they will allow you to board and use all public areas. Like the previous posters stated, you may not be able to go to your room right away, so bring (or wear) a bathing suit so you can make use of the pool! Or plan to explore your new home, before everyone else is on board!
