Explorer Room 9318

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone....we're thinking of booking JS 9318 on the Explorer....it's mid hump...looks like a nice location...but we're worried...is it too close to the elevators?...the Centrum?...the passage way for all folks?...and the crowds going to and from the Concierge lounge?. We don't want to be in a busy, or noisy place. Would appreciate any input/advice.

Also, is that balcony mid-hump any bigger than the others surrounding the hump or elsewhere.... we're used to the "huge aft balconies"... comments pls.

So...bottom line.. do we take the lovely mid-hump JS or move a little to the left or right...port or starboard... or, do we try to move to our great aft cabin/balcony...??.

Thanks...really can't wait for your opinions/options/ comments. Much appreciated.

Don't move your room--I don't know why everyone gets freaked out by the elevators! Even tho they look close in the deck plans, they are in their own little hallway, completely seperate from the room corridors. The rooms are quite soundproof, so unless someone is YELLING down the hallway, it's quiet! Your JS sounds great! Have a good trip!

The "hump" is the best place to be, IMO. It is soooo convenient, you can run back to your room in a sec if you forget anything, and the elevators/traffic are never a problem. As far as the size of the balcony....they may be slightly larger, but they're nowhere near the size of the ones in back. I would still prefer the location. Enjoy!
