Miami Stop on Cruise,What to do?

We have a stop in Miami on our Cruise in August! It will be DH, Me, our twins 7, and his Mom! (His dad doesnt get off the boat). Whats fun or interesting to do and see WITH kids? We dont mind soaking up some of the culture. Whats an easy way to do this from the cruise terminal. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Parrot Jungle and some other museum are just a few minutes away on Watson Island. You'll still be in sight of Grandeur. Then visit Bayside if you like.

The cruise lines offer Parrot Jungle but does not include transportation. What transportation do you suggest? Thank you:o

Sounds like they are just selling tickets then. A cab from the pier to Parrot Jungle would be about $15 or so I would guess. The other museum is science or discovery or something like that. But it'd be difficult to walk between the 2 because of the causeway.

yes, if you know Liberty City, there are some good places to eat. But it is not a good place to explore.

 

stick to Lincoln Road on the beach or stuff like that.
