Just stayed at South Beach Marriott

in Miami pre cruise and it was oustanding. A little south of the noisy area (you can walk to the hotspots) and a great beach. The hotel is clean, lots of great amenities, great food and bar area. Only a 10-15min cab ride to port ($20).

I highly recommend this place.

That is nice to know. Lot's of folks want to spend a pre or post cruise night in SOBE. How much was your room and did you bid on Priceline or where did you get the best deal?

I would like to kow too. Also, did you have a car rental? How about parking, fee???? Was the 20 cab to the port for 2??? How about from airport to hotel???

The cab fare was for two. The fare from airport to SOBE is $32 for as many as you can fit in the cab:)

I did not have a car, but I think the parking fee was $10-12 a night.

I didn't do priceline and paid $ 189 for oceanview room. I think through priceline some people have gotten a rate around $75.

we will be staying at the Marriott South Beach this week as a pre cruise stay. Booked it on their web site 122.00 a night for 4 people in a room.

 

trying to decide whether we need to rent a car, want to go to Everglades Park. any suggestions?

im visiting the area in april 07, must be a hot time, over 400 bucks at the marriott
