Refurb----Galaxy?

In the back of my dark and weak brain, I remember hearing the Galaxy was scheduled for a refurb later this year. We just moved our booking from the Zenith to the Galaxy for Jan 12, 2007. Just curious if the work will be done before we sail. Oh yeah, third time on the Galaxy...we love this ship and crew!!!!

announcements from Celebrity as to a refurbishment of the Galaxy. There have been many rumors but nothing concrete from Celebrity who are the people that would really know.

Latest rumour to run through these boards was that nothing would be done until April/May 2007. It hasn't stopped me from booking for March 2007.

What happens to bookings for after the refit has finished, that were made before it was announced? For example, say you booked what was then a standard Outside up on deck 8 or 9 (ie, non-balcony) and as a result of the refit it's now a balcony, what happens to your booking? Do you get the same cabin you were orginally allocated, in its new state?

the Galaxy already has baclonies and they will not be adding any.
