Time Zone Question

Recommended Posts

Leaving on Saturday on Norwegian Dawn and we'll be in Bermuda and the Bahamas.

I keep hearing people saying to make sure you're on the ship a bit earlier when there is a time difference on the island that you'll be on.

So here's my dumb question....Can someone tell me if there is a time difference between Bermuda, Bahamas and the east coast? I'm in CT. Thanks so much.

I haven't sailed on NCL, but on the other lines, there is always a sign at the disembarkation gate that tells you what time to be back on ship. They will also tell you what the ship's time is. Some ships change to local time, and some do not - it is up to the captain if the time changes.

We always plan on being back on the ship at least 1/2 hour before they sail. (usually more)

Have a great cruise!
