DVD Players and Hair Dryers on Statendam

I'm going to be in a regular outside cabin, not a suite, and was wondering if the standard rooms have hair dryers or do I need to bring my own. Also are there DVD players in each cabin so if I wanted to bring some movies from home I could watch them in my cabin?

All cabins on all ships have hair dryers. Some think they are powerful enough, others don't and bring their own. They are a lot more powerful than the old ones in the bathrooms.

Those are still good for clearing off a foggy mirror, though.

Yes, there are DVD players, and flat screens. As to the hair dryers, as Ruth said they are great for clearing the mirror. I have thick, long hair and have to bring my own if I want to get out in under an hour.

I love the new more powerful European hair dryers.

 

We were just on the Statendam in June.

kakalina, there are two hairdryers---the old one in the bathroom (bad) and the new one in a drawer (good).

(The Vista-class ships may not have the old style dryers.)
