ryanb12553 Posted August 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Im new to royal caribbean and am just hearing that you can not do your own laundry on board. And I'm sure that questions like this get asked here all of the time so how do you get your laundry done? can you send out for it? Thanks.
Brittgrrl Posted August 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2006 They give you those courtesy bags, just fill out the slip and they'll be back the next day. Dry cleaning is EXCEPTIONALLY well priced-I send ALL of mine out on one of the last days so I don't have to pay double when I get back home! But I wouldn't recommend just sending out for things like your knickers...at $2 to clean one pair, you might want to just buy extra and do the washing up when you get home. PhoenixCruiser Posted August 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2006 The prices can be found in the FAQs section of RCCL's website. ###

cb at sea Posted August 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Unless you are on a VERY long cruise, just bring enough clothes to make it through! Only on our 10 day did we need laundry services.
forpaws Posted August 22, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 22, 2006 The prices really are reasonable and the service was good. I would definitely go with the advice I've seen on here: Take half the clothes and twice the money! We took way too many clothes, I knew we did when I packed them, and now I wish we'd taken half and sent them to the ship's laundry. Having said that, I would bring extra undies, socks, etc. as I thought the ship's price was a little crazy for these items. :D
