First of all, it is impossible for anyone else to tel you how easily you get bored.

Are you normally bored when there are 14+ activities to do at any given moment of every day; or relax oceanside/poolside and do nothing???

There are kids programs and activities, teens activities, family activities. There are islands and ports almost every day to visit, explore, and excur (is that a word?).

There are 3000+ other people to get to know and share experiences with.

There are 7 meals and day, lounges, casinos, bars, and outdoor activities. There are sports of all sorts, there are video games, tv's to watch, movies to sleep through, there are ...... (it goes on and on and on);)

So I would say you will NOT be bored, unless you like none of that.:D

Hope this helps.

Between the Adventure Ocean program, the ice skating rink, rock climbing wall, miniature golf, swimming pools, video arcade games, Royal Promenade with the special parades, and the numerous food venues your kids should have plenty to keep them from being bored. There are likely to be a large number of other kids to meet and hang with. No one, of any age, should be bored on a Voyager class ship unless they choose to be.:) Adults can enjoy many of the above listed features plus a variety of lounges, the casino and theater and shops. All of you should make sure to attend the Ice Show. It is fabulous.:)

HI RERE!!! You chose the right ship...MARINER is kid friendly...they will have the time of their lives...just make sure you get them to enroll in the kids program the second you get on the ship and make sure they go. I can not tell you how importan it is for the kids to get in the program as soon as they get onboard. It will be great for you and the kids!!!

The older ones will love it with so much to do. The twins may not want to separate into the AO and then YOU will be bored watching them all day and night not able to do all the activities there are. Hope this is not the case. Nothing worse is seeing parents of young kids running all over the pool deck after them.... My kids are 10, 11 and over 18 and they were only bored on CCL. The camp was not fun for them and the ship had nothing but the slides and the pool. Stick with voyager class ships on RCI and you and the kids should be fine. HAve fun!

I depends what you're looking for in a vacation! If you're used to doing theme parks and such, yes, you may get bored! If the family is into relaxing at times and just enjoying being around each other, then this is the opportunity you've been looking for! I'm sure in the ports you will find excursions to please everyone. On the ship, the kids love the pools and the children's activities are top-notch! They can be totally active and having fun, while you and hubby have a little "alone" time. Or time with other adults you will meet--sometimes that's important, too!

Anyway, it is what you make of it! Have fun!

As said before... it all depends. There are LOTS of activities for many different age groups, RCI makes every effort to make it so you do not get bored. If you go in with the attitude that someone is making you go, and are determined to be bored, you will. If you go in with the opposite attitude, you will have a GRAND time.

On the otherhand... If you would LIKE to be bored.. (sitting in the sun on a deck chair, sipping a margaritta, no cell phone, no palm pilot, no laptop, and a stack of books next to you), yep, you can be bored, and it can be quite nice.:) :) :)
