Rare Host Kat Posted September 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2006 Howdy gcards07! Welcome to Cruise Critic and the Help Forum! I fully understand your need to know more information. However, you have posted on the Help Forum where members find information about using Cruise Critic's software. This is not the place for your type of post and the information you seek is off topic. Per our Guidelines and to help you out, I have moved your thread to the Gulf Coast Departures Forum where it will be on topic. I hope you will be able to find it in the new location! Your fellow Cruise Critic members should be able to help you with more information there. And for future reference, click here for all the Cruise Critic forums: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/index.php I sincerely hope this will be satisfactory and glad to have you aboard Cruise Critic! Happy trails to you... Kat
karen2cruz Posted September 17, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2006 What is the best/least expensive way to get from Houston Hobby to Galveston r/t? Depends on how many there are of you. Just two? Galveston Limo (really a van but very reliable) http://www.galvestonlimousineservice.com/ If there is 5-7 people, think about renting a van one way - Hertz and Enterprise have places in Galveston. cruisenewbie1 Posted September 18, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2006 I am cruising on the Grand next February and I am exploring one of 2 options. You can go to the Coachusa website and then book a roundtrip from there. Currently it is running $66 per person roundtrip and they will pick you up at numerous places around the city, including both Bush and Hobby airports. Their schedules are at the website. Also I am debating renting a limo for the trip down to the pier and then the Coachusa bus back. It is a lot more expensive this way but might be something kind of nice for the Mrs.
jolly3 Posted October 4, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2006 We just returned from Carnival/Conquest cruise. If you are looking for basic economical transportation I can recommend Yellow Cab. You don't have to call them, they are already at the airport and lined up waiting at the pier when you return. Cost is flat rate $85.00 for up to 4 persons. If more than 4 person additional $25.00 PP. That is if all passengers are at the same terminal.
