How far LAX to Long Beach Pier?

Thinking of a cruise on the Pride and was wondering how far the pier is to LAX? Taxi ride cost?

A lot depends on traffic. We used Prime Time Shuttle to the pier and a taxi on the way back. The shuttle picked us up and made one other stop to pick up someone else. Total ride time was about 45 min, without any traffic. Coming back we had an early flight so we self-debarked and took a cab. Again, no traffic and we were at the airport in about 30 min. Cost was about $37 each way.

At max speeds on the freeway, bout 20-25 minutes

on the 405 at almost anytime is 15-20 mph:eek: , well maybe at 3 am it gets up to 30;) . And that's without a big rig turnover. A little humor now and then never hurts.

I would figure on the trip taking anywhere from about 45 minutes (weekend) to about 90 minutes. Again, time of day is a factor.

 

There are many shuttle services that can transport you from the Airport to the Pier. One of them is supershuttle which can be found a http://www.supershuttle.com

I guess we got lucky, we never hit traffic on the 405 while we were down there. We took Primetime shuttle from LAX to the pier $16.00 pp one way, and rented a car on the way back so we could do the beach/lunch/shopping thing. Rental car was about $60.00 for the day including insurance. Through budget rental cars.

Wow, you were extremely lucky not to hit 405 traffic. We always count on it .. no matter the day or hour -- especially around LAX.
