Has anyone been getting Service Unavailable

messages. This has been occurring to me for the last three days when trying to log on. Tried to go the backdoor through the Cruise Critic home page and only got it for the message boards....

I think it was the same for everyone, it normally means that a server has gone down

Got it 4 times today, then just now it suddenly came back up , was getting worried without my daily "fix"

I got it too but it seems okay now. It was very nice of Cruise Critic as I got something else done for a change!!!! I really enjoy this board:)

I got it too although it does only seem to be the boards. Also I am finding that they are running slowly at the moment.

Today was o.k., but yesterday - until afternoon - I was cut off from my daily "fix". (I could also only get in through a backdoor - by clicking on an email link from a board message that I hadn't deleted).

Weird. When I get it, it's like I'm blind. I usually immediately try to get in two or three more times because I just can't believe what it says.

It was unavailable all morning but when I came in at 5:30 it was back. First time it's happened to me and I usually check in every morning.

I have been having this problem for a couple of days and wrote CC about it, here is the reply I received:

 

Hi Margie:

We have been experiencing technical hiccups with one of our eight servers;

please excuse us and accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience.

A workaround is to shut down the browser and restart a new one -- you'll

have a 7 in 8 chance of getting in!

A workaround is to shut down the browser and restart a new one -- you'll

have a 7 in 8 chance of getting in!
