Anybody been?

I am interested in sailing on Millenium. Has anybody ever been on her? What is she like? Any reviews and/or cruise pics would be helpful. Also, I am very interested in the RMS Titanic. Is it true that there is a restaruant onboard that's covered with the wood from her sister the RMS Olympic? :eek: That would make the trip right there!:)

Yes. I did the transatlantic on Millenium last year and it was wonderful. The specialty restaurant that you are referring to is just like the one on the Titanic. It is just lovely. Didn't dine there but checked it out.

It was quite an adventure sailing across the Atlantic. I was lucky it was May and very smooth. I met so many nice, interesting people and you couldn't ask for a better vessel to sail across the Atlantic. Plenty to do. Have a wonderful time.:)

The Mille is a great ship with wonderful staff. The Summit has fixtures from the old Normandie in their Normandie restaurant. The alternate restaurants on all the M class ships are wonderful.

Cabo de hornos here. We're on Millie leaving 11/10/06 from Venice, but we're also doing the Italy pre-cruise tour (Milan/Lake Como, train to Venice). Were you on this pre-cruise tour? If so, how was it?
