Canada Place

Check out http://www.canadaplace.ca If the info isn't there you will be able to contact someone via e-mail and ask them if there is in fact a duty free store there. Even if there is, I cannot imagine Canadian duty free prices being better than what you can purchase items for in the States. When we went to Alaska over five years ago I don't recall seeing a duty free shop there. However, things may have changed by now. Be sure that you are in fact leaving from Canada Place.....there are two piers in Vancouver. When we returned from Hawaii last year, we were supposed to sail into Vancouver at Canada Place, however, we ended up being piered at the other dock.....certainly no where near as attractive. Have fun in any case.

A liter of Absolut is usually $18 Canadian at the airport DFS. With the exchange rate, that's not bad, and still way less than the states... but on the ship, that liter will be $10. So prices are better onboard.
