Port of Miami to miami airport?

I am sure htis has been asked but can't seem to find it.

 

How much does it cost (via taxi, or a better way if you know one)

to get from the port of miami to miami airport?

 

Reason I am asking is myself and 3 others are trying to get to Ft. Myers in Florida after our cruise and figure it would be easiest to take a bus from the airport? I could be wrong here too, any advice would be appreciated!

I don't know if yours is a good plan, but a cab to the airport should be about 27 bucks.

You might want to consider renting a vehicle, especially if driving to Fort Myers is an option. All the major rental companies have shuttles that will pick you up at the cruise dock and deliver you to a rental location. When I've rented in FL I haven't been charged a one-way fee, but I have heard that some companies charge around $10.

 

I did this at the begining of the month, renting a full size car for around $80 including taxes, etc. Sunday is a pricy day in Miami, any other day of the week would have been half that.

Port of Miami to Miami Air Port is 21-22 bucks for the cab no matter how many people are inside.

try http://www.cruise-connection.com for the bus from the Port of Miami to Ft. Myers. It will be about $50 for the one way trip.

It's going to be $24 for the cab fare, it's a flat rate to and from.
