Hello Cruise Lovers:)

Has anyone ever stayed at this hotel, and if so, how was it.

Looking for a reasonable priced room for May 5, before boarding the "Freedom of the Seas" Any help & info would be greatly appreciated.

Very far from pier. May is low season. You should be able to get a good deal on a 4 star in Downtown zone on Priceline, or a good price at Intercontinental on Hotwire. Read back a few pages and you will learn a lot.

in early March. I was able to use points to get a free room. From all the research that I've done; it appears to be about 11 or so miles from Port Everglades. We're flying in the day before and renting a car, so we'll have a bit more flexibility. The rates in March (especially during Spring Break) can be pretty high. If I didn't have the free room and if it wasn't Spring Break; I would definitely have tried to find something close to the Port.;)

We are staying there (on points) Dec 9 - 11. I will let you know what it is like when we return. I read a very good review on it some time ago but I am not able to locate the thread. We will have a car as we know it is a fair ways from the airport and the pier. Courtyard has just recently redone all their bedding.
