Has anyone checked in in to a hotel paid through travelocity who was not the purchasing party?

Not sure about Travelocity but with Priceline I wouldn't even attempt it.

Yes, my husband and I were given the gift of a two night stay by someone and the room was in their name. Call the hotel ahead of time and explain the situation.

My cousin booked a room for us thru PL and paid with her CC but the room was in our name.

 

I would figure that travelocity and expedia would have a similar option.
