We booked at room for the night before our cruise at LaQuinta in Cocoa Beach. Has anyone stayed here before? Would appreciate any information. Thanks!

Hi, I stayed there....but can't remember which month:eek:

Not this summer but maybe last? I was with friends....I am trying

to remember what month it was.... we saw the shuttle come back

in...not the most recent one this summer but the prior one...had

to be in 2005.

Anyway, it was fine....room was clean, they have a sportsbar

as well as another regular bar. They also have a pool.

It is located on the westside of the street, so if you

want to walk to the beach it is across A1A.

Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area too.

We stayed here January 2005 for $70 internet rate. Now at $93. Our room was refurbished nicely with 2 comfortable queen beds, fridge, micro. This is the motel owned by 7 original astronauts in the 60s. 2 story courtyard rooms surround a huge outdoor pool we never got to use cuz our flight was late into the night. Outdoor bar. GREAT cont. breakfast and huge fitness center next door. Did not go into bar/restaurant. Did not go across the street to ocean. Thinking of booking again this January. We will have rental car out of Melbourne Airport so location not as important.
