johnson1105 Posted November 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2006 I was wondering if anyone has had the experience of parking at the carnival Miami port with an oversized vehicle. We have a Toyota Landcruiser which we have driven to Ft lauderdale parking port and had no problems, However we are taking all 4 kids this time and are using a luggage carrier that attaches to the roof. Will we be able to park in the garage??... or will we have to park outside somewhere?? Any advice on this matter would be appreciated. Thanks! Setting sail Dec 17 on Carnival Victory.. YIPEEEE!!!!! Sueseb Posted November 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 22, 2006 As I recall when we sailed out of Miami it was an open parking lot, not covered, right at the pier. Sue
Bonnie J. Posted November 23, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 23, 2006 There is a parking garage in Miami at the port but not necessaily near your ship. They have a huge open parking area across from the ships. Won't you check your luggage before you park so you don't have to lug it all to the porters? Then you can put the carrier in your car. You could park where we do when leaving Miami. Its at CMB Parking. They charge $6 a day vs. port's $12. They have a free shuttle to and from the port. CMB is at 3499 NW 25th st., 800-435-3195 or 305-635-0805. We never park at any port anymore. We also have a great place in Ft. Lauderdale.
