We had a stop there in 1985. It has been SO long ago, but we vividly remember that port. Hopefully things have improved. Our ship's 'shore excursion' was ALL of us in taxis (4 per cab) - no busses at all. Some drivers may have spoken English, but those of us who spoke Spanish translated for others in their taxi. Basically we just drove around and saw the tiny town and minimal scenery. If there is a nice beach, we didn't see it.
