Need a hotel that is next to shopping in Port Everglades

Anyone recommend a hotel that is nearly "next door" to decent shopping, but within a reasonable cab fare to the port everglades? We want to do some local florida shopping before our cruise departure.:confused:

Hi,:) The Riverside Hotel is right in the middle of

Las Olas Blvd. You have an entire blvd of shops

and many, many restaurants.

The hotel has shops on both sides..."next door to the left

and to the right."

A cab ride to the pier is probably going to be 10.00--15.00
