gettin outta here Posted January 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2007 sailing on the Sovereign of the Seas in a couple of weeks. Just curious if anyone could give me an idea of prices of massages onboard.
Merion_Mom Posted January 13, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2007 Much more expensive than on land. Honestly, I can't recall exact prices, but something like $159 and up for a 50-60 minute massage, regular price before any specials or discounts. horsefeathers75 Posted January 13, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2007 Sometimes - If you wait to get a massage while the ship is in port, they have specials on board. Both my husband and I (seperately) got a massage on the Naviagtor of the Seas. He got a 60 minute massage for $99.00 and I got a back massage and a facial for $79.00. But the problem is that you have to have it done while the ship is in port and since most folks are on shore excursions, they have very little business in the spas. I have never done this before and this is the first ship of the 11 cruises I have been on that did this. So I would check that out. If you have Crown & Anchor coupons (repeat RCCL cruisers) they are NOT allowed for these specials. Both my husband & I enjoyed our Spa treatments. ILoveScotland Posted January 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2007 I had a hot stone massage and also a facial including microdermabrasian on the Brilliance transatlantic in October. Each cost about $160 or more including tip. I don't pay anything close to that here at home.
cb at sea Posted January 13, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 13, 2007 I've never seen a need to spend the extra money that it costs to have a massage on the ship! If I really MUST have a massage, I'll get one at home, or have my hubby do it (for free!!!)

parrothead60450 Posted January 13, 2007 #7 Share Posted January 13, 2007 Depending on where you are going, you may be able to get one on a beach somewhere as well. I got a nice one last year at one of our stops at a beach. It was excellent and much cheaper.
