Traveling August 2007

Deciding on where to cruise. Is it safe to do a cruise to the Caribbean in August??

 

We are traveling with my husband and my parents in the late 70's.

We cruise almost every August. Currently have cruise booked for 8/4/07. Ships will not sail into or near a hurricane. One suggestion - Travel at least one or two days precruise in case hurricane affects your ability to get to Embarkation port (particularly if you live on East coast or Gulf coast).

A lot of our cruises happen the last week in AUgust. We have a group heading out on the Carnival Liberty on August 26th. (for information check out the link below.)

 

August is hurricane season--just be aware that ports can change. so have a plan B just in case.
