Flat Duck tape

Hi everyone! I know that you can purchase flat duck tape, what I need to know is where? I am hoping someone out there can help me out. Thanks for the help! Gabrielle

Or you can use one of those temp. credit cards you get in the mail and just wrap duct tape around it. Thats what we do and it works fine.

I have seen the flat "roll" duct tape in Walgreen's and CVS drug stores in the household aisle.

we used to sell them at sherwin williams, but they were discontinued, some stores might still have them on there clearance shelf .

I cut several 6" strips and attached them to a piece of coated cardboard. We have used it quite a bit. One of my favorites is holding down the hairdryer button.

 

I like the credit card idea! That way if I need a larger piece, I will be able to unfold what I need. Thanks for the idea.:D

I cut several 6" strips and attached them to a piece of coated cardboard. We have used it quite a bit. One of my favorites is holding down the hairdryer button.

Our last few cruises, the hairdryer stayed on all by itself! Didn't have to hold the button down! WOOHOO! :p

Where did you see the term FLAT DUCK TAPE...also have never heard of it...i'l have to ask my brother in law "blatz man"...i should probably know this since duck tape is holding our cabin up right now...

It is Duct Tape packaged flat instead of in a roll

Have never needed duct tape on any cruise-- I bring my own hairdryer, so that damn button isn't an issue for me!

You own duct tape, right? If so, just take a piece of cardboard and wrap a small portion of your duct tape around it 20-25 times. That's more than enough for the cruise, and you won't pay a huge price for the "convenience" of a "travel pack".

THANK YOU! You all for your help. I am sending the info to my sister -in-law who is going to Israel for 14 days, so I was sending her ideas of what to do. Easier way to get flat duct tape is to take a partly used roll, and step on it. Now take out the cardboad spool and you can easily pack your tape.

Great! I'll pass that along to her! She is a devoted Wally world shopper- I know she will be going there soon. Hard to say what she will choose. All of your guesses will be as good as mine! I think it depends if her husband wants to share his duct/duck tape. Gabrielle
