What does one wear each night to dinner? How casual is it? Are dress pants or a skirt okay?

Casual nights what you described is perfect, for the formal nights it is just that formal, gowns or cocktail dresses for women and suits or tuxes for men.

I think you will find that on longer cruises, women dress up a bit more, even on casual night! I'm not talking formalwear, but dressier than t-shirts and slacks! Most folks consider dinner to be more than just eating--and more of an event! On our last 10-day, 90% of the women dressed to impress every night. The men, not so much!

Welcome to CC daisy7113. We agree with cb at sea. Dress pants with the right tops and accesseries are also worn by some of the ladies on formal nights.

 

You might want to drop in on the Roll Call for the cruise you are on and ask some of those folks what they are wearing......
