Flight Info - when do you get your flight info?

We're on the June 20th Nautica - Istanbul to Turkey. The TA that is arranged it for the non-profit group we won it from tells me that we won't get our flight data until 30 days before we leave. I want to arrange my seat assignments ahead and make arrangements for our airport transfers now. I like having all the loose ends tied down early so that I can pack and plan out my time in the various ports.

 

How soon will Oceania get us our flight information? Regent allows me to book flights months ahead with a deviation but Oceania doesn't do it the same way.

I am pretty sure that if you are doing a deviation you should get flight info when you accept the routing.

Ask your TA to check on the flight arrangements.

The TA told me that I would not get flight info until 30 days out. That just doesn't make sense to me that they would book an international flight last minute!

I am not deviating, but, I am going in a day early on an Oceania hotel package....

We are sailing on the Nautica May 29, 2007 from Athens to Rome. I got a call from my TA on March 22, 2007 with our Oceania air schedule, so I guess that makes it about 10 weeks before the cruise. Hope this helps.

If you have not deviated, please keep in mind that the itinerary you just received 10 weeks prior is a preliminary air schedule and it can change.

 

Your final air schedule is 30 days prior unless you have done an air deviation.

Our TA called today - O booked our flights and they are okay. We fly out on Lufthansa and come home on Delta, which is good - we have a layover in Atlanta coming home so I can use the Crown room.
