Empress; 6 night Bermuda, Info Please ?

:confused: Hi I have seen a lot of reviews of the 8 nights but none on the six night. Do they have midnight buffets? How many? Do they have a formal night? Anything else you can offer would be appreciated. Also we are a group traveling with older people, how do they get on the ship? There is no way that my mother can climb 5 flights of stairs to embark.

I can only answer the last of your questions - request wheelchair assistance for your mother (and any others in your party who cannot climb stairs) - they will be brought in through the crew entrance on a lower deck. Have to do this with my DH who has emphysema and cannot climb stairs. You may miss out on embarkation photos, but there are so many other photo ops that it is not an issue for us.

I've been on the Empress 6 night to Bermuda for the past two years. This year I am booked on the 8 night. They are the same cruise with the exception of the 8 night going to St. George's and they extra time in Bermuda.

 

There are midnight buffets every night in the Windjammer from what I can remember. Room service is 24 hours. There are two formal nights.

Thanks but does anyone have the room service menu or a link? I asked this before and no one answered(not to say the other board is better-its not) but on the NCL board this would have been answered within minutes...
