Which is the better deck 8 or 7 for inside Cat. J cabin on Splendour of the Seas ?

Both cabins should be exactly the same! Deck 8 makes it easier to run up the stairs to the pool deck!

I might go with Deck 7. Depending on your location (look at the deck plans to determine), you could be under the pool and could have some noise. (Ask to hear others experience.) On Deck 7, it looks like you have a buffer.

I looked on the deck plans and it appears that J cabins on deck 8 appear to be under the main pool which is on deck 9. I don't know how much noise would be there late at night or early in the morning so deck 7 might be better if there is noise. On the other hand the plans make it appear the cabins on 8 are wider than those on 7. I know that they are suppose to be the same area so the cabins could be wider but shorter in length than 7 cabins so if that is the case which might be more enjoyable to stay in during the cruise. thanks for the imput.................Chet

We were on Deck 8. Don't remember pool noise. It was great to be able to run up and down from the pool by just one deck!
