K9CrazyGirl Posted April 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2007 Has anybody priced limo/towncar companies from IAH to Galveston lately? The company I used last year (Houston Limousine Network) has raised their prices significantly. $394 + Gratuity for 4 people, round trip. Last year it was $250! Any leads on good deals would be appreciated. We are sailing 5/27 and returning 6/3. Jen
firefly333 Posted April 30, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2007 I found this that says it will pick you up at the airport. Sounded good to me. http://www.ezcruiseconnection.com/pages.php?pageid=
K9CrazyGirl Posted April 30, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted April 30, 2007 Thanks for the suggestion. Has anyone used this service? We kind of liked having a car for just us and not having to have a million stops to let people on and off. Jen

lindalo5032 Posted May 7, 2007 #9 Share Posted May 7, 2007 www.supershuttle.com It's only $100 from Hobby. Does anyone know if they will stop at a nearby store to let you purchase water? When I called the 800 number that serves the whole U.S, they said it would just depend on the driver. I was wondering if anyone here has done this with the Houston Hobby-Galveston transfer? K9CrazyGirl Posted May 18, 2007 Author #10 Share Posted May 18, 2007 Maybe they would stop for a fee. I just reserved Super Shuttle for my group (thanks for the suggestion Oklahomagirl). The day we go home they are going to pick us all up at the pier and then go first to the airport and then to a hotel. Two people in my group are staying overnight and flying out the next day. The charge to stop at the airport and the hotel was $10. Jen
rosenc1c Posted June 8, 2007 #11 Share Posted June 8, 2007 I have a couple of questions about the super shuttle: 1) Will it hold 10 people plus the luggage for 10 people? I can imagine there being 10 to 20 pieces of luggage. 2) How do you know what time to have them pick you up from the cruise terminal when you arrive back in port?
