2007 World Cruise Drawing to a Close

The end is finally here. Day 111 was another grand experience. After dinner we hit the casino for one last time...and then we went to the Observation Lounge to have a nightcap while listening to Frankie. We could see lights on the horizon (Grand Bahamas) so the end of our grand adventure is surely at hand.

It has been a terrific experience. Because of things going on in our home lives (grandchildren!) we won't be taking a cruise in 2008, but would defintely consider the 2009 World Cruise if the itinerary is interesting.

For those of you who are tracking us via my AOL Journal, I apologize for the lack of photos...maybe when we return to our high speed line in Chicago on Monday we can get some loaded.

It's been a terrific experience and I've enjoyed sharing it with you who have been readers and who have corresponded by e-mail.

I am making a quick weenkend trip to Colorado Springs, but would be glad to answer any questions re: the World Cruiise posted either here or via my e-mail: themccrackens@hotmail.com

Cheers,

Larry

I just want to say Larry and Karen that I've enjoyed immensely reading your journal and photos of the trip. I figure it's unlikely I'll ever get to do a world cruise, but it's been real special to read about yours. Many thanks.

Larry & Karen, thanks so much for posting your journal and fabulous pictures. The ones from the small private island in the South Pacific were especially beautiful. I've really enjoyed following along on your WC. Welcome back to Chicago!

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your cruise with us. The pictures were great as well.

A couple of questions when you are caught up: 1) Would you do it again? 2) How soon ahead of time did you start planning? 3) What was your absolute favorite most memorable thing?

I will miss tuning in to see an update every day!

Welcome Home Larry & Karen!! I'm glad I got to see you and say good bye. Now it's back to our "other" life. I went through 4 months of mail today, UGH. Good to see family and pets but besides that...re-entering reality is tough after being so spoiled!! After all, anything we wanted for 4 months was only a phone call away.:)

Welcome Home!
