Where Are Deck Plans for Journey

Does anyone know where I can view deck plans for Journey? I've looked on their website, and on X's website and nothing is available that shows detailed plans for each deck. I would like to see locations of suites and locations of places like the lounges and casino.

Darcie,

Hopefully the following link will get you where you want to go

Thank you so very much. That helped a great deal. Do you by any chance know how large the casino will be? We're big on casinos and if it's tiny, with few machines, that will impact our booking a cruise on either of the two new ships.

Sorry, I don't know big the casino will be.

Hopefully we will get some more information once the Journey starts sailing

I don't quite remember the casino when we were on one of the R ships, but I do remember that is was quite nice.

I know Azumara is making it bigger than it was when Ren. had those ships

Hi Darcie !

That's one of my concerns as well. We enjoy the Casino very much. Many on the Oceania boards have said the Casino on their ships is on the smaller side. I am hoping we will see some photos of Journey soon, so we can get this question answered. Hopefully, the Casino will be fine.

The casino was small when it was a Ren ship but maybe that's an area that was redone to allow for more room. However, keep in mind that even if they did expand the casino, don't expect the size of a casino on a larger ship. There's no room for that capacity.

Although posters know that Journey/Quest are small ships I can tell that alot of posters have never been on a small ship so they aren't really comprehending what that means. The small ship experience isn't for everyone. Now that Azamara has announced their policies, like smoking etc, it defines even further which pax is it's target audience. I really don't think they are trying to attract the mass market.

Happy sailing!

I'm also a Crystal and Seabourn cruiser, so I know what smaller ships can/cannot provide. But, if X/Azamara wants to get into the world cruise market, they will have to provide entertainment so those who are on voyages of 100+ days won't get bored. Seabourn is known for their extremely port intensive cruises, so things like a casino and larger entertainment venues don't really matter that much. But when you get into a world cruise, which Seabourn doesn't do, you need to provide entertainment for those long stretches of sea days that are part and parcel of a world cruise. I've done long portions of four world cruises and entertainment is a very important part of the experience. I'm not sure the old Ren ships, although rennovated, are capable of providing everything that a world cruise can provide, But, I'm fascinated by the relatively inexpensive prices they are charging for some of their South America voyages, when you consider all you're getting for the price. It's rather impressive.

This may sound silly but I noticed on the drawings that they have not labled "ladies & gents" rooms... I hope they have them... he he he

On the other ships' deck layouts they are all outlined... maybe they'll get to it soon... I'd like to know which b/r facility is closest to the casino! :D

Happy cruising every one!

On Oceania they are just past the casino before you get to the lounge (cabaret)...beside the elevators
