dzboss1 Posted May 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2007 I am a happy over packer, and was always able to drive to my ports (5 1/2 hour drive from Mass to NJ) the day before, with all the luggage I needed. But I am moving south shortly (just before my July cruise), and it will now require me to take a train (I don't fly) to NJ, while the rest of the family flies up. This therefore greatly limits the amount of luggage we will be able to take to make me comfortable for my 9 and 12 day cruises. I know there are luggage services, but I don't know a sole who has used one or any solid reports on their reliability. Looking to my CC friends for some assistance. Thanks in advance!! dzboss1 Posted May 14, 2007 Author #2 Share Posted May 14, 2007 Guess luggage services aren't as popular as I hoped they would be.:D
cb at sea Posted May 14, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2007 Why not just Fedex some of your stuff? I have a co-worker who does this all the time--all he takes is a small carry-on!

SomeBeach Posted May 14, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2007 This doesn't help for RCI but I hope they take the lead from Princess which is starting a luggage service. It will begin for European cruises this month but they hope to have it available here for US cruises by the end of the year.
