Defogging your mask

My husband's mask is always leaking water 'cause he has a beard and mustache. Any ideas?

There are mask with wider skirts that will solve that but the only way to make sure is go to a very good scuba diving shop with a nice selection of mask and try lots of mask on. It really helps if there is a pool at the dive shop so you can test them underwater. I have big smile lines so I have to do this to make sure my mask doesn't leak. A mask that works good may only be $30 or it may be $100. Price doesn't seem to dictate how well it will work.

I shave part of my mustache near the nose, and use lip baum(chap stick) to help seal the mask. It is a 50 - 50 chance. Sometimes it works and other time it still leaks
