flamomo Posted May 20, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2007 I found this bridgecam photo on the princessshutter dot com/princesscam dot htm website this morning, and thought it was too beautiful not to share.
RickT Posted May 20, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2007 Sights like that are one of the reasons I love to cruise to Alaska!

flamomo Posted May 20, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted May 20, 2007 Sorry ~~~~ the picture changed from what I originally posted ~~~ I guess when the bridgecam updates, the picture changes. What I posted was a pre-dawn view of mountains in the background with a yellow glow showing above them and the glow was reflected in the water in the foreground. It truly was gorgeous. I had no idea the picture would change as the new bridgecam update photos appeared!
Globaliser Posted May 20, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 20, 2007 Sorry ~~~~ the picture changed from what I originally posted ~~~ I guess when the bridgecam updates, the picture changes. The URL that you posted for the image takes it directly from the Princess website, which always shows the most recently available image. If you want to save a particular image, you'd need to save it to your computer, and then either upload it to CC (using the Manage Attachments button below the text entry box where you type your post), or else use a free picture hosting service (like http://www.tinypic.com, which is the one I usually use). I've just captured a series of later images which actually look pretty good to me, too:-

flamomo Posted May 20, 2007 Author #7 Share Posted May 20, 2007 Thaks, Globaliser, for the tip. I'll have to try your method the next time I find a photo worth sharing (assuming that, as a computer dummie I can figure it out). The ones you added are really good. Since I have not yet done an Alaska cruise, I'm really enjoying the pictures from that website. Hopefully I'll be going there next summer.
