Ferry Watcher Posted June 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2007 This was in the Seattle Times today. For you folks that will be visiting our fair city this cruise season, you might find this helpful if you are looking for a restaurant while in the Pike Place Market (or as the locals call it, 'The Market'). I also personally recommend the Pink Door (Italian, no sign, you look for a pink door along Post Alley, great outdoor deck). GORDONCHICK Posted June 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2007 Thanks for the article on restaurants. I hadn't even thought about eating while we were there (hadn't gotten that far) but this article will help!
Toronto Maple Leaf Fan Posted June 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2007 Just returned from Seattle and I totally agree that the Pink Door is a great dinner location for everyone. The food is excellent for the $$. We were there when they were holding open auditions so the entertainment was amusing to say the least. As the OP stated, just look for the Pink Door, there is no signage.

I sailed out of Seattle last summer and when I flew home I found out (was given information on here:)) about a new area inside the airport. I believe it is called "Pacific Marketplace" and there are quite a few restaurants there~I was pleasantly surprised~you can see planes taking off and landing as well:)! I found the link for anyone interested: http://www.seatac.org/seatac/shopdine/

trvlcrzy Posted June 28, 2007 #9 Share Posted June 28, 2007 We loved Piroshky Piroshky at Pike's Place Market. (Also, the fresh fruit was great for snacking while walking around!)
