I got a card from Celebrity on this ship as I am an elite member and can find no information on the Celebrity web site or any of my usual sites. Local AAA agent does not have brochures yet.

Deck plans, itineraries and cabin descriptions can be found in CC section of Celebrity's website. Prices and reservations are only available through a special invite-only phone number for Captain's Club members until 7/5. Hope that helps.

Thanks very much. This ship will definately be my first Celebrity ship.

I will confess that I am really excited about the cruise. We are currently booked on 12/14 in a CC cabin. But now that I read that BLU is going to have mostly same menu as Main Dining room and Aqua Class will have CC amenities we are thinking of changing to AC. What have you all heard about Aqua Class?

I did get weekly cruise maps and layouts of cabin, but nothing showing where dining rooms and other things I am interested in are in relation to various type cabins. I am interested in being near elevators and places we want to go to.

Deck plans do not come up on my dial up connections. I am over 65 and cannot afford DSL.

It's not your dial up connection at this point. The only information showing up so far are the layouts and locations of the cabin. The location of the dining rooms, casino, bars and other features are still being held as a Celebrity secret. :)

The only thing they are showing at this point in the cabins. More information will come out over the next year.

I called and am not giving them a large deposit on something I cannot see as far as some deck layouts. I will consider booking this when brochures are out.

My big question is, will the aft cabins have bigger balconies as on the Millie class ships?? Doesn't look like it by the floorplans.

Is CC category still going to have the same amenities like on the other ships? If I read correctly the only difference for the AC category is that they will have access to the spa facilities and the new aqua specialty restaurant, is this correct?

We have Aquaclass on hold but I would really like more info too. Yes AC gets all the CC amenities plus access to Blu and Persian Garden. But do we get priority spa appts? When is Blu open - just for dinner or can you have breakfast and lunch there? Are you still assigned a table in the main dining room? We may switch back to CC if we can't get some of this figured out.

Are you still assigned a table in the main dining room? We may switch back to CC if we can't get some of this figured out.

I just put AQ on hold for February 8, 2009. I asked about the seating in Blu, and was told that Blu has two seatings and you get assigned a table there, not in the main dining room. Blu is set aside for AQ guests, but others can book in if there is availability. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me, because it seems like people booking in would be stuffed into tables of 'every night' diners, but I think at this point all information is confusing at best.

 

I figure as I find out more, and if I don't like what I find out, I'll just move my booking to another ship or another cabin category. After all, I take an X cruise once or twice per year anyway.
