Galveston traffic

Were coming to Galveston Saturday JUly 7th. Does anyone know the road conditions or if there is any congestion from Houston? Any help would be appreciated. :)

I'm not sure about the north side of Houston but there is road construction on I-45 South from Bay Area Blvd. to FM. 518 in League City. Just slow down and be careful through this section and you should be fine. I haven't heard of any closings scheduled for this section so you should still have three narrow lanes open.

 

The Galveston Causeway is also under construction and you should slow through this area also. Again, I haven't heard of any planned closings for that weekend. Just check the TEXDOT website.
