lauren0309 Posted August 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2004 I booked and gave my deposit with an on-line travel agency. When my final payment is due I want to use Royal Caribbean's credit card to get points. Do I make my final payment to the on-line travel agency or make final payment to Royal Caribbean? Ocean Boy Posted August 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2004 You just give the number of your credit card to the TA. You cannot deal directly with RCI if you booked through a TA.
Nanatravel Posted August 17, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2004 Your travel agent should be reminding you of the final payment about two weeks before it is due. Just give them your credit card account number, they are not interested in where the card came from (like Bank, company, etc.) just if it is a Master Card, Visa or American Express. Your bank will bill you on your next statement and then you pay them off as you wish. You can also use your new RCI CC as the card for all ship board expences including tips. Again, you will earn more points. However, you will have to start spending and cruising a lot to get enough points for a free cruise. But it's sure worth trying to do. bon voyage.
